I know it probably hurt when your jaw hit the floor in seeing a post on this poor little neglected blog of mine.
I *do* want to start posting again. In fact, I want to start a new blog (I know, I can't believe I'm saying that either). But WHO KNOWS when that will happen. I certainly don't.
Because here's the thing... you know that post that magically showed up yesterday? Well, it really was magic. I wrote that post, oh, I don't know... a year ago? A little over a year ago? But I didn't want to post it yet (I don't remember why!), so I changed the date so that it wouldn't post anytime soon. Because I was going to get back to it in a couple of days. Or 365 days. Or 372... or however many days it was.
But I didn't.
But Blogger was on the ball and posted it for me anyway. Even though I never finished writing whatever it was I was going to say.
So um, yeah. Ha ha! The joke is on you... but... maybe it did work. Because it forced me to post today.
Never mind... apparently the joke was on me.

My friend and I were recently discussing about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
